Terms and Conditions and important information about 'en Joy dance fitness classes

Please read the following information before booking or participating in any classes.

General terms & conditions for 'en Joy dance fitness classes

Booking online in advance is essential as there is a limited number of spaces per session, to allow for safe and comfortable distancing in line with national governing body EMD UK group exercise guidelines. Online booking is available on a session by session basis, or with discounted rates when booking more classes at once with a multi class pass.

Please wear suitable clothing and footwear for taking part in exercise. Trainers are essential for most dance fitness classes, to protect your feet as well as your joints from impact. Should you decide to remove footwear, you do so at your own risk of injury. Trainers designed for dance and indoor fitness are most suitable, rather than running shoes which can have too much grip. Please bring a bottle of water to stay hydrated. You do not have to wait for a break, please pause and drink whenever you need to. Please do not continue with any movements that cause pain and please always work at your own level, modifying any movements as required.

In the event of any further national or local Covid lockdowns, venue closure, or instructor illness, any outstanding sessions already paid for will be made up at the earliest opportunity, or session credits will be placed on your booking account to be used against future classes. If you are unable to attend a session which you have paid for (individually or with a class pass), you have the option to reschedule or cancel your booking up to 24 hours before the class is due to begin, by logging into your booking account and navigating to 'My Bookings'. If you cancel a session which was booked using a class pass, the session will go back onto the pass for future use (up until the original class pass expiry date). If a session is cancelled which was not booked with a pass, you will receive a Session Credit on your account, usually within 24 hours. This can be used against any future class within 1 month of it being added to your account. 'No-shows' will not receive a class credit. Refunds are not available in any circumstances other than 'en Joy dance fitness ceasing to trade. In UK selling laws, Leisure activities provided on a specific date or during a specific period are excluded from the 14‑day cooling‑off right under the Consumer Contracts Regulations and there is no statutory right to a refund for a booked pay-as-you-go class if you change your mind.

There may be slight changes in the timetable from month to month and certain classes may be discontinued if they are not popular/viable. If 'en Joy dance fitness ceases to trade completely, any non-expired class pass sessions will be refunded pro-rata.

If a significant number of classes are cancelled due to instructor illness, venue closure, or other unforeseen circumstance, Monthly Memberships will receive either an extension or a discount on their next purchase, at the discretion of 'en Joy dance fitness.

10 class passes are now valid for four months from purchase, while 5 class passes are valid for two months from purchase (those previously purchased with longer validity will remain active until their original expiry date). Monthly memberships are valid for one calendar month.

Class Passes provide a discounted rate for regular attendees and have a firm expiry date: once a pass expires it becomes invalid and any unused credits are forfeited. Passes cannot be extended or reactivated beyond the original expiry date. Classes may not run on public holidays / during periods of instructor leave, and occasional class cancellations may occur, so please consider this and your own availability when deciding if a multi-class pass is right for you. These rules ensure fair access to class spaces and sustainable pricing for all participants. The Single Session ticket is the most suitable option for those who cannot attend regularly, or who want to try a class before committing to multiple sessions.

For everyone's safety, participants are asked not to attend classes if they test positive, or if they have symptoms of Covid-19 or other infectious illness.

You will be required to fill in a Physical Activity Readiness Questionnaire during the registration process and you are responsible for checking with your doctor to ensure you are able to participate in the activity. By booking a class, you acknowledge and understand that you are voluntarily engaging in an acceptable level of exercise, and participation in any exercise involves a risk of injury.

The exercises in most of 'en Joy dance fitness classes are targeted towards adults. Ages 14-17 may take part is some classes, only alongside a parent/guardian who is also participating in the class and supervising their child at all times. Unfortunately we cannot allow children under 14 (or under 18 without a parent/guardian) to take part in our adult classes, as children's exercises should be adapted to reduce risks of injury due to their bodies still developing and they also require a higher level of supervision to ensure their exercise technique is correct. Please check the age suitability on the class description.

Under 18s do not need their own booking account. If booking on behalf of yourself as well as a vulnerable adult or an under 18, please select your class and add the 'parent/carer ticket for two' pass to your booking, in order to reserve two spaces.

By booking and taking part in an 'en Joy dance fitness class, you are submitting a legally binding electronic signature and you are deemed to have read and accepted all the terms and conditions on this page.
